I found a very useful guide for this Lent on the Indian Christian Orthodox Network web site. The Great Lent Guide was designed to guide Sunday School children spiritually through the Great Lent, but it usable for all of us. It has activities on each day of the 50 days of Lent. It has special Lenten prayers (translated to English), bible readings for the day, information about charitable initiatives, and an activity checklist.
Download it. Read it. Use it. Use it not only for your children, but also for yourselves.
